Curate My Move

I provide sensitive and thoughtful support for busy families, people downsizing after a considerable time in one location, or management of an estate.

Moving is hard work; mentally and physically.

Let me streamline your moving process

  • I will support you to declutter unwanted items, and donate on your behalf, as well as pack up, or in preparation for putting your house on the market.

  • I pack with purpose - assisting you to pack simply and effectively, ensuring an easy and tidy move.

  • I provide a style session in your new home, to create beautiful and efficient solutions.

Downsizing and need to curate a lifetime home?

I provide respectful and caring support as you or your loved ones transition to a smaller home or assisted living. Curate your new living space with comfortable and familiar belongings, and ease the stress of downsizing.

Let’s have a chat to discuss the size of your house and your needs, so that I can provide an estimate on the time needed to get you the desired result.

Frequently asked questions

What is the process?

When you feel comfortable, book a free in home consult and I will pop by for a chat about your space. I’ll give you a recommendation of how many sessions to book in, and you can book your sessions straight from the website. I’ll come over and work my magic!

How many sessions will I need and how much will we get done?

Every space is unique, so i can only give you an estimate, based on experience. Ultimately, it depends on how many items are in the space, and how quickly we can process and make decisions on what we find. I work quickly and pride myself on using our time effectively.

Will you work with me?

If you want me to. I work in every-day houses; from minimalists to really ‘messy’ spaces. It might overwhelm you, but i’m a pro, it does not faze me.

I’m happy to work in the physical manifestation of Compulsive Hoarding Disorder, but I am not a mental health professional, and I want you to feel comfortable and safe within this process.

Do I need a consult first?

I prefer to have a consult first, but I understand that is not always possible, and you might just want to get on with it! I’ll give you a call, as we both need to feel safe and comfortable, with me being in your home.

The space I want organised isn’t mentioned above- Can you do that?

Absolutely. Small or large businesses, sheds, paperwork, attics, airbnbs, entire houses, storage units, I’ve even organised people’s admin and lives! Flick me an email and ask!

Why is there a four hour minimum time?

I know it is a long time, but we are decluttering and organising- really taking a space back to its bare bones and recreating how it works for you. ‘Tidying’ a space might take an hour or two- but it does not solve the actual issue. That’s why you’re here, reading this.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I’m based in Te Wanganui-a-tara, Wellington. I am happy to travel nationwide, heck- I’ll travel internationally if you really want me to!

Do you work weekends?

I can work weekends by arrangement. If you are able to work from home- that’s a great balance.

I love organising- can I work with you?

The skills you need to have as a Professional Organiser are empathy, great listening and communication skills, creative thinking and initiative. It’s less about labelling glass jars, and more about people.

It can be a physical job, with heavy lifting and sometimes dusty, hot and cramped spaces.

Curate Home will be growing, so if you are interested, and are a self- starter, get in touch.
